How to reach the support team
The quickest way to get help is to use the enquiry form on our contact page. Tell us what you need in plain terms, whether it is a question about a jar, an order that is still in transit, or help with a gift box for a client in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban or Gqeberha.
When you send your message, please include your name, order number if you have one, the product name, and your preferred delivery town. This helps us trace your request faster, especially when we are handling multiple courier collections from Paarl and nearby areas such as Stellenbosch and Somerset West.
- Use the enquiry form for all support requests
- Include your order number where possible
- Tell us the product name and pack size
- Let us know if the order is for home delivery, a gift, or business use
What we can assist with
The team helps with product questions, order status checks, courier updates, stock availability, and general service support. If you are planning a wedding order, hospitality supply, subscription box, or a bulk order for a store or office, we can guide you on the right pack sizes and delivery timing.
We also assist with custom hampers and event favours, which is useful when you need a few boxes for a small gathering or a larger run for a company function. If something arrives damaged or a parcel has been delayed by courier traffic, load-shedding interruptions or route changes, send us the order details and we will check the next step.
- Product information and usage guidance
- Order updates and courier follow up
- Gift boxes and custom hamper requests
- Bulk order and stockist enquiries
- Seasonal, subscription and hospitality orders
What to include in your message
Clear details save time and help us respond properly. If you are asking about a jar of sun-dried tomato preserve or a pickle item, note the product name, jar size and the date you ordered. If the request is about delivery, tell us the address or town and any access notes, such as a gate code, business hours, or a secure reception point.
For business customers, it helps to mention the type of service you need. For example, a restaurant in Paarl may need repeated supply, while a company in Pretoria may want branded corporate gifting for a seasonal campaign. If you are collecting for a function, say when the stock is needed so we can plan the courier handover without delays.
- Your full name and contact details on the form
- Order number or invoice reference if available
- Town, suburb or delivery area
- A short note on the issue or request
- Any deadline for gifting, events, or trade supply
Support for delivery and courier queries
We deliver nationwide by courier, with regular orders sent to major centres such as Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Gqeberha. If you need an update on a parcel, tell us when the order was placed and where it is going. That helps us check the handover point and the courier movement more accurately.
In warmer coastal areas, we pay close attention to packing and dispatch timing so your order leaves in good condition. For inland deliveries, we also keep an eye on courier cut-off times and public holidays, which can affect arrival dates. If you are sending a gift box for an event, it is best to contact support early so we can plan around the schedule, and avoid any last minute rush.
Our base in Paarl makes it easy to manage local dispatches across the Western Cape, but we also handle orders for customers far beyond the province. If a courier query comes up, the support team will work through it with you step by step rather than leave you guessing.
Support for trade, events and repeat orders
If you are a stockist, caterer, hotel, guesthouse or event organiser, support can help with repeat ordering, packaging queries and timing for larger deliveries. We work with businesses that need predictable stock and simple communication, especially where orders are linked to weddings, hospitality menus, or retail shelves.
For repeat orders, it helps to let us know how often you need stock and which products move best in your kitchen or store. That way we can keep the conversation practical and straight forward, from first enquiry to dispatch. Marli Botha in recipe development, Lindiwe Ndlovu in production, and Thabo Molefe in courier fulfilment all play a part when larger orders need careful planning.
- Stockist enquiries and retail supply questions
- Hospitality supply for kitchens and guest houses
- Event favours and wedding orders
- Seasonal gifting and custom hamper planning
Meet the people behind support
Cumato was founded in 2011 and is based in Paarl, Western Cape. When you send an enquiry, it is handled by a team that knows the products and the practical side of getting them to customers around South Africa. Marius van der Merwe leads the business, while Ayesha Khan manages sales coordination and Siphesihle Dlamini handles customer care.
Farm sourcing is led by Jaco Smit, who works closely with local farms supplying the produce that goes into our preserves. On the production side, Lindiwe Ndlovu oversees the day to day process, and Thabo Molefe keeps fulfilment moving once orders are packed. That means your message reaches people who can actually check the right part of the process, not just pass it along.
If you are sending a support request for Paarl, Cape Town, Stellenbosch or Somerset West, or further afield to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban or Gqeberha, you can expect the same careful follow up. We try to keep replies clear and useful, with no fuss and no guessing.
